Obituaries, Funeral Notices, & Memorial Cards
Obituaries and funeral notices published in local newspapers are extremely valuable sources of information for family historians. Although the contents may often include spelling or other mistakes, they are generally helpful to determine the picture of an extended family at a specific point in time and often provide clues to other locations where family members may be living.
The transcriptions below are as they appeared. Additional information or corrections may appear in [brackets with red type]. In some cases, original clippings were saved without dates, but other sources were used to determine which paper and date the clipping first appeared.
